How do I check if our Safety Buttons work?

  1. Notify property team members in advance of scheduled button testing 
  2. Gather all safety buttons on property 
  3. Log in the TraknProtect portal 
  4. Under “Safety”, select “Manage Alert Recipients” 
  5. Disable all alert recipients 
  6. Under “Safety” select “History” 
  7. Ensure workspace is in a room or adjacent to a room with a gateway installed and online 
  8. Press and hold safety button for about 3 seconds until the green light flashes 
  9. When alert comes in, mark alert ended on the far-right side of the page 
  10. Click “Actions”, then “Type”, and record as “Test” alert 
  11. Repeat actions 8-10 with all safety buttons 
  12. If alerts do not come in for a button, record button number and contact support@traknprotect.com.
