How do I swap out our current gateway for a replacement?

Sign in to the TraknProtect Portal
Under the "Gateways" tab, select "Manage Gateways"
Scroll down to or search for the room number where the gateway needs to be replaced
Confirm the "Vendor ID" code matches the code on the back of the gateway you wish to replace
On the far-right side of the row for that room #, select "Replace"
Re-confirm correct Vendor ID, now called a MAC Address
Select from the dropdown list of Available Gateway MAC Addresses
Locate and confirm you have the spare you wish to replace with by checking the MAC Address code on the back of the replacement gateway device
Enter a replacement reason and note
Click submit
Install replacement gateway in same outlet original gateway was installed in, checking for lights indicating power and wifi connection
